Dr. Nikolaos D. Karakousis is an Internal Medicine Physician, trained in Hepatology. He graduated (MD) from Medical School of Athens (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens), while he holds both MSc and PhD degree from Medical School of Athens (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens). He has already published many studies (PubMed and Scopus indexed, h-index:10) concerning Diabetes Mellitus and Metabolism, Liver Diseases, Sarcopenia, Frailty Syndrome, Vitamins and Minerals, while he has teaching experience as Teaching Assistant at the University of Thessaly since 2023. He has participated in numerous medical and scientific congresses as invited speaker.
