Eleftheria Nteliou has been working as a Special Teaching Staff at the Foreign Language Center of the University of Thessaly since 2009, having taught English for Specific and Academic Purposes (ESAP) in various Departments. Before being appointed as permanent teaching staff in Harokopio University (2002-2009), she also worked as adjunct lecturer in the former Technological Educational Institute of Larissa. She graduated in English Language and Literature from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and further specialized in Applied Linguistics in the University of Reading, where she completed her postgraduate studies with distinction. She has been part of research project teams and has participated as a speaker in international conferences, publishing papers on topics relating to the testing and assessment of communicative skills, the teaching and assessment of academic writing as well as intercultural competence and communication.
