Kyriaki Spanou is an Academic Fellow of the Department of Dietetics and Nutrition, University of Thessaly. She holds a BA (Honors) degree in Contemporary English Language Studies from the University of Luton/Bedfordshire in the United Kingdom (UK) and a MA (Masters) degree in Bilingual Translation and Interpretation from the University of Westminster in London, UK. She holds a PhD degree (Grade: 10) with a scholarship from the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) from the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science, University of Thessaly. At the center of her research interests are Pedagogy, Sociology and the Teaching of English Terminology in various scientific fields. She has published articles in national and international scientific journals with a system of judges included in bibliographic databases, chapters in conference proceedings while she has presented her research work in national and international conferences with judges focusing on thematic areas such as: social networks, anti-social behaviors, education. English Language Teaching, Intercultural Education, Teaching Methodology of Education and Bilingual Translation (English-Greek) consist her successful teaching and professional project as she has taught the English Language and Terminology at all levels of education (primary, secondary, tertiary).
