Christos Christakis holds a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology from University of Applied Sciences of Athens, a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from University of Thessaly and a Degree in Agronomy and Crop Science (Equivalent to the Anglo-Saxon degree M.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering) from Agricultural University of Athens. He completed his master’s degree in Spatial Analysis and Environmental Management at the Polytechnic School of University of Thessaly and was awarded his PhD by the Department of Agricultural Crop Production and Rural Environment, University of Thessaly. His work experience includes food microbiology, quality manager expertise and European LIFE+ program coordination. His teaching experience includes Teaching Assistance in undergraduate laboratory courses in University of Thessaly and Food Technology courses at an Institute of Vocational Training in Greece. From 2020 onwards he has been working as an adjunct professor of higher education at University of Thessaly.
